We’re looking for a Regional Manager with aquaculture industry and business development experience to set up and grow the New Zealand/Australia branch of our Scottish sustainable aquaculture technology business.
Your first year will be a success if we increase revenue, sign up new rental customers, establish local support infrastructure, and build a healthy sales pipeline for Year 2.
Ace Aquatec is a fast-growing Scottish company developing new technologies to accelerate the adoption of responsible marine practices in the aquaculture, commercial fishing and offshore industries. We’ve doubled revenue over the last three years, won several innovation awards, and are now expanding our team for international growth.
You will set up Ace Aquatec APAC and lead regional growth by developing new sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and establishing local engineering support for our products.
As well as being great at business development you should also have experience working in the aquaculture industry and ideally experience managing a region, business unit or small business.
You will be the regional face of our business and should also be comfortable representing Ace Aquatec with local media, at industry events and in discussions with regulatory bodies.
You will be supported by finance, operations and marketing colleagues in Scotland. This role currently has no direct reports but you would become line manager for any future regional team members.
