Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to support the international growth, product launches and brand development of our sustainable aquaculture technology.

 

Your first year will be a success if we have new marketing collateral, increased brand awareness in our target regions, improved online presence, and a clear plan for Year 2.

 

Company overview:

Ace Aquatec is a fast-growing Scottish company developing new technologies to accelerate the adoption of responsible marine practices in the aquaculture and offshore industries. We’ve created a variety of award-winning products, including in-water electric stunners, predator deterrents, 3D biomass cameras, and sea lice removal systems.

 

Role overview:

You will be accountable for all of our marketing activities, including: website, PR, advertising, exhibitions, awards, product launches, and sales enablement materials.

 

We will look to you to shape how our company is presented to the world and support our Regional Managers achieve their sales goals.

 

Our ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and visual), previous success in a similar role, and is passionate about bringing our brand to life.

 

This role has one direct report who you will work with to achieve our marketing goals.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage annual marketing plan and budget
  • Content creation – written and visual content for website, brochures, articles, etc.
  • Website – improve reach and relevance (WordPress and Google Analytics)
  • Events – plan our exhibition stands at industry conferences
  • PR – engage with trade publications and other industry groups
  • Advertising – print and Google Ads
  • Create compelling value propositions and messaging for every product
  • Coach and develop your team member

You will be based in our bright modern office at Dundee’s City Quay but we are also open to flexible remote working arrangements. During the current coronavirus situation we are committed to supporting remote working until it’s safe to be back in our office.
